This year Remembrance Day, 11th November 2018, falls on a Sunday, uniquely, it is both Armistice Day and the 100th Anniversary of the end of hostilities in the First World War.  In Lyonshall our activities centre in the Memorial Hall  which is being decorated in tribute to the fallen and there will be coffee mornings, lunches and afternoon tea on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th November. There will be afternoon tea on Sunday 11th November.

The  Remembrance Service will be held at 11.00am on Sunday 11th November in the Church of St Micheal and All Angels.

A short video 'Lyonshall Remembers' has been made to commemorate those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the war.  The video has been amended to include voices of a number of our residents.
