Superfast broadband is now available in Lyonshall
It seems to be only parts of the parish close to the exchange.
In addition, not all providers know about it. However, some local residents are enjoying superfast speeds.
Please contact your service provider for information on ordering.

Conclusions(from Archaeological Report)
7.1.1 Based on the results of the field evaluation it is possible to ascertain that at least four
reasonably substantial medieval structures, partly domestic in nature and primarily in
use from the mid-13th until the end of the 14th centuries, before going into terminal
decline in the 15th century, occupy at least the front half of the assessment area.
7.1.2 The medieval structural remains and built platforms are currently in a good state of
preservation despite being located, in some instances, within 0.2m of the current ground
surface. Similarly, the cut features appear to be un-truncated by later activity.
The road is now re-open through Kington High Street as of 3.50 pm Monday 28th September.
Please read the Message received from Balfour Beatty - 28/9/2015:
We are hoping to lift the road closure in Kington tomorrow; although the scaffolding is now in place we are unable to remove the road closure until concrete barriers, suitably marked, are in place to prevent vehicles hitting the scaffolding. Please rest assured that we are working with the contractors to ensure we can reopen the road as soon as possible.
On Thursday 10th September 2015 listen out at 6.00pm for the commemorative bell tolling for Trooper Frank Cowles, The Australian Light Horse, of “The Royal George Inn” Lyonshall.
Died aged 23 of wounds received at Gallipoli, on 10th September 1915 and buried in The Church Yard
If you have time please visit the Memorial Garden at the church where a wreath has been aid in his memory.
