Book your place today! Children and young people (aged 5 to 16) in Herefordshire who receive benefits-related free school meals can now sign up and book up to 20 free activity sessions (that’s a lot of fun!) between 20th July and 18th August.

This summer activities include sports, drama workshops, pottery, parkour and much more! Each session includes a free meal.

For the first time, there is now a specific booking portal featuring SEND specific sessions. Shared lives week 2024

Herefordshire Shared Lives is celebrating Shared Lives Carers and and the people who they support.

Shared Lives carers come from a range of backgrounds and are carefully matched with people they support. They encourage and help individuals develop practical skills, build self-esteem and establish new friendships and social networks in their own neighbourhood, which provides them with a sense of belonging and community. Training and support networks are provided to all Shared Lives carers.

To become a Shared Lives carer, you must be over 18 years of age, you don’t need specific qualifications, just the right values and commitment. You can read more about Shared Lives on the Herefordshire Council website.
